Ontario Wood Award - Custom Home Build

The Peterborough and Kawartha Home Builders' Association is proud to announce our partnership with the Ontario Wood program in bringing to life the Local Wood Content Awards for the 2018 building season. The Local Wood Content Award aims to promote your commitment to sustainable building and local economic development. The award will be based on the highest value of local wood in the build, and expressed as a percentage of total wood content available. All builders submitting projects must join the free, no-commitment Ontario Wood program using the Ontario Wood program, and can do so easily by emailing Emily Radford at emily.radford@ontario.ca.

Requirements

Eligibility Requirements:

• This category is open to any new custom home build project by any PKHBA member (Tarion or exemption required)
• The custom home be built with a portion of Ontario wood
• The renovation must use over $5,000 in total building materials
• You must be a member of the Ontario Wood program (free)
